We are currently experiencing communication problems in school. We are working with our IT provider to solve the issues but at the moment it looks like this is a serious issue as we have experienced a Ransomware attack.
Ransomware attacks involve Malware that encrypts files on a device or a network that results in the system being inoperable.
Our contractors are working on resolving all of the issues but this will take time. Data systems are affected so apologies if we are not as fast as usual in responding to requests or communications. The issues have been contained and a recovery plan is in place which includes:
1. Recovering phone systems so that communications in and out of school via phone can open up.
2. Access to emails. This is not possible at the moment via a school device.
3. Protection of Microsoft 365.
